The Township of the Archipelago has announced a new Waste Management By-Law , becoming effective June 1st, 2022 and replacing the By-Law from 2012. There are important changes to the By-Law that might impact some property owners, especially those engaging in short-term rentals. Guidance is also provided for disposal of items like old/wayward docks, boats, and invasive species.

The TOA Environment Report is now available, featuring results of the 2020 Water Quality Monitoring Program, fish community data gathered by the MNRF; and Forest pests & diseases found in the Parry Sound-Muskoka area.
