2023 Sailing Regatta

The races will be in the South End of the lake, beginning at 2PM on August 6th, 2023.

We look forward to seeing all sailors out for this years’ sailing regatta. Rain date will be Monday August 7th at 11am.

As you may know, we are now running two races – the usual Championship race, and a Junior Championship race for our up-and-coming sailors (those under 18).

Volunteers Needed

We also have a few volunteer opportunities for this event:

Buoy Monitor

• Ensure the sailing vessels go around the buoys the correct way

  • Buoys to starboard if the race course goes in a clockwise direction

  • Buoys to port if the race course goes in a counter-clockwise direction

• Ensure sailing vessels do not touch the buoys
