CRANE LAKE DESIGN CONTEST - 2024
Attention Crane Lakers!
You are invited to create and submit a Crane Lake design for Spring 2025 merchandise orders.
Anyone who is interested is invited to submit an original design in a contest where other Crane Lakers will be able to vote for their favourite design. The winning design will be printed onto various items (e.g. clothing, drinkware, etc.) which will be available for sale in Spring 2025!
Submission Guidelines and How to Enter
The contest opens on September 1st and closes on September 30th 2024. Late submissions will not be considered, as voting will be taking place by October 30th 2024,
All entries must be submitted through the form below by September 30th 2024 to be included in the contest.
One or more submissions per person are acceptable. Each submission must be sent as a separate form submission.
There is no fee to enter the contest.
Design Guidelines and Parameters
Entries must be submitted as JPEG files. For quality reproduction purposes, the winning entry must later be submitted in scalable vector graphic format (EPS).
Any design entered must be original work. You must be the designer, creator and producer of the work. No work produced or sourced by commercial means will be allowed.
Colour must be CMYK, though the design may also be reproduced in black and white. Contestants are advised to avoid gradients and half-tones.
The design must include the words “Crane Lake” and be easy to use, handle, resize, and manipulate for all reproduction purposes. It should be visually appealing on both small (as small as 2 cm x 2 cm) and large scales.
Intellectual Property
By submitting a design to the Crane Lake Association as part of the Design Contest, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
You represent and warrant that your submitted design is your original work and does not infringe on any third party’s rights and does not violate any law, rule or regulation.
By submitting a design to the Contest, you are granting the Association exclusive rights to the design, allowing the Association to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish and otherwise display the design in digital and print communications and in produced media including but not limited to clothing, merchandise, etc. Contestants are not entitled to any royalties, fees, or other compensation for use of the design.
Determination of Winner
The winning entry will be selected by a vote by Crane Lakers.
A winner will be selected and notified via email by November 15th 2024.
